Connecting to a wireless network

The available wireless networks are:

  • MCS
  • Public-Wifi
  • INT (hidden)

All school-owned devices should connect to the "MCS" wireless network.  Exceptions include the AppleTVs and certain incompatible devices that will connect to "INT".  iPads used for airplay should be connected to "MCS" although some may be on "INT" at the descretion of the technology dept.  If your school-owned device is on "Public-Wifi" you will need to disconnect and join "MCS".

Connecting to "MCS":

All chromebooks are already configured to connect to "MCS".  If you have one that is not please contact the technology department.  Connecting chromebooks to "MCS" will require intervention from the technology department if they are not already connected.  Connecting all other devices can be handled by the end-user.  Simply select "MCS" from the available wireless networks and, when prompted, enter your username and password used to login to your DESKTOP computer.  If you are prompted to "TRUST" the network you can safely do so.

Connecting to "Public-Wifi":

Used for personal devices and visitors, the public network is protect by a wireless key.  This key is "wifi4all" (no quotes).  This key may rotate out from time to time and any changes will be posted here.

Connecting to "INT":

"INT" is a customized network that is only used for certain devices.  In general, only AppleTVs and incompatible laptops will connect to "INT".  Any connection to "INT" will require assistance from the technology department.
