Opening School Registration and Other Information

Returning students’ families may register online from any computer location beginning on July 24th by going to your existing Harmony account at: www.mitchell.k12.in.us  If you do not have a Harmony account, you will need to register in person at the school during the Onsite registration.

Any child whose birthday is on or before August 1st of the current year, being 5 years old, is eligible to enter kindergarten.

First time enrollees are encouraged to call and set up an appointment with the school office/counselor on or after July 27, 2017.  New enrollees must come to the school to initiate the enrollment process before proceeding with online registration.

All required State immunization requirements must be met prior to enrolling in school.  The Lawrence County Health Department will be present to provide any MCS student with needed immunizations at Mitchell Junior High School on:

  • July 28, 2017                       8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.    
  • July 31, 2017                       Noon to 7:00 p.m.
