This year's school picture day is Friday, Sept. 9. Students should receive an order form in English classes. You may order online or enclose exact change or a check made out to Inter-State Studio and Publishing Co.
Virtual students should come in to get their pictures taken on Sept. 9 as well. Pictures are often finished around lunchtime, so please come in the morning to ensure you get your picture taken. These students should sign in at the office after arrival.
Seniors who do not wish to have senior pictures taken outside school are welcome to have a picture taken on this day as well and order pictures if they choose.
If you should lose the order form, the online ordering information is: Go to inter-state.com/order. The order code is 68832YA.
Retake day is currently scheduled for October 27.
The physics classes began to explore mathematical modeling this week by analyzing ice cores. Student learn to measure ice layers and create equations to predict the depth in the future

The yearbook staff would like to announce that the 2023 Mitchell High School Yearbook is now for sale. The price is $40.
We are running a back-to-school special through August 26. As usual, the yearbook company will raise the price as the year goes on, so if you want to get the yearbook for the lowest price, now is the time to order. In addition, you can get four free icons on the cover of your yearbook when you personalize your book for $7. The icons are a $28 value and there are many to choose from to represent your activities at MHS. Again, this special offer expires August 26.

We would like to announce this year's fall production of Shrek the Musical Jr. Students in grades 4-12 are welcome to audition and participate in this opportunity for an experience that is truly like no other.
