Help us with congratulating MHS and COSMOS instructor Noah Kearns as Ivy Tech Bloomington's Dual Credit Instructor of the Year!!! MHS Counselor Susan Taylor nominated Mr. Kearns and shared, "Mr. Noah Kearns is amazing and truly dedicated to the teaching profession and his students. Mr. Kearns teaches Physics, dual credit Finite Mathematics, dual credit Precalculus and Trigonometry, and dual credit AP Calculus at Mitchell High School. Through our COSMOS collaboration (The Collaboration of Shoals, Mitchell, and Orleans Schools), he also virtually teaches students from Shoals and Orleans in his dual credit courses. When he was not satisfied with his students' engagement and understanding, he advocated for his virtual students to attend MHS in person one day a week. He also works diligently to ensure quality virtual instruction. Additionally, Mr. Kearns went back to school in order to provide further dual credit opportunities for our students. He plans to add dual credit Astronomy next year and potentially Quantitative Reasoning. While some instructors would not be interested in teaching this many different preps, Mr. Kearns is always eager to add to his load if it helps kids. Finally, he has been instrumental in helping us to help our students to earn the Indiana College Core. If it weren't for his course offerings, I do not believe our students would be as capable of earning this distinction." Thank you to Mr. Kearns for his consistent dedication to ALL students and the teaching profession!

Athletics UPDATE: Perry Central vs. Mitchell at HOOSIER GYM January 27, 2024. Athletic Department has Vouchers for anyone interested in attending. Each voucher is good for 1 ticket purchase at the door. Only 600 seats available at the Gym. Get your Vouchers starting Monday.
Athletic Update: The Lady Bluejackets will play host to Lady Lions of Salem tomorrow (01/20) JV Tip-Off is set for 12:00pm with Varsity to follow. The GAME IS STILL ON!!!!!!! We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow afternoon. Lets Go Lady Bluejackets!

Athletic Reminder- MHS Boys vs. Brownstown Central (12/16/2023). You must have purchased a Pre-sale ticket to be granted access on Saturday evening.
Also, Please remember- NO STADIUM SEATS will be admitted into Brownstown Central for the game.
