Mitchell Choirs will be starting up the Mitchell Youth Choir in March for those young voices who like to sing. Mitchell Youth Choir will be open to 4th, 5th and 6th graders to join. Rehearsals will be Thursdays after school from 3:30-5pm in the Mitchell High School Choir Room. Students who are interested can collect a form from the main office of their school. The link to sign up is below. The last day to sign up is Thursday, March 2nd. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Riley through email.

You still have time to order your yearbook! Yearbook sales are open until March10, 2023. The yearbook staff has been working hard to create a great yearbook! Yearbooks will be delivered in May!

Check out CampGRIZ - a summer camp for students entering 6th-9th grade for the Fall 2023 school year. Campers will learn from Franklin College faculty in the areas of science, technology, engineering, mathematics and the arts, while also interacting with Franklin College students and alumni in order to gain a real-world perspective on the benefits of higher education. 8th Grade Parent Night will be moved to Thursday, February 2nd due to school closure today.
This will still take place at 6 pm in the auditorium at the high school.

Next Tuesday, January 31st will be Eighth Grade Parent Night! At 6 pm in the Auditorium, parents and students will get a look at what freshman year will look like and get a head start!

MCS is cancelling school tomorrow (Dec. 14), due to all 4 schools being under a boil water advisory. We will be using January 16th as a make up day. At this time, school is still on schedule for Thursday and bottled water will be available for student and staff use. The girls varsity basketball gave vs. Shoals this evening is postponed. The rescheduled date will be announced.
