IREAD meeting next Tuesday, Feb. 10, for any parent whose child will take IREAD this school year. If your child passed in second grade, he/she will NOT take it again; therefore, you will NOT need to attend the meeting.

Mrs. Meredith's class had the highest attendance rate for the month of January. Third grade was our overall grade level winner with a rate of 96%!! Way to go students!!

Good afternoon, Burris Families!! We will have another synchronous e-learning day tomorrow, Tuesday, January 26th. Students, log in to the Google Meet and keep your microphones muted. Be sure you listen to the lesson and do your best!!

Attention third-grade parents!! If your child will take IREAD-3 this spring, plan to attend our Parent Meeting on Tuesday, February 10th at 5:00pm at the Burris Cafeteria. We will be discussing all things IREAD, including new laws surrounding this state assessment.

Last week our Educators of the Week were our office ladies, Mrs. Driver and Mrs. Cole. Thank you for keeping our school running smoothly.

Mrs. Briscoe was our Educator of the Week during our first week back from break. She does a great job in PE, teaching students cooperative skills while also having fun!!

Miss McCracken's class had the highest attendance rate for December with 99%. Way to go kiddos!!

Our Educator of the Week was Mrs. Seitzinger during the week before Christmas Break. We are very lucky to have her on our third-grade team. Thank you, Mrs. Seitzinger!
