🌊 Hatfield Family Night is Almost Here! 🌊
Join us for a fun-filled evening at Hatfield Elementary Family Night on Tuesday, April 14th from 5:00–7:00 PM....A Sea of Lights!
Bring the whole family and explore exciting, under-the-sea themed activities throughout the school from a Glow-in-the-Dark Art Show and STEAM challenges to music, crafts, yummy snacks, and more!
Be sure to stop by the Book Fair, visit local community organizations in the gym, and don’t forget to grab a sweet treat from the Bubble Tea Barn and Hometown Scoops trucks!

Attention Hatfield Families: Our last scheduled MCS two-hour delay day is planned for this Wednesday, April 8th. These days give teachers valuable time for collaboration and professional development to support student learning.
For Two-Hour Delays At Hatfield:
Car rider drop-off begins at 9:50 AM in the back.
Buses unload at the front at 10:00 AM.
No breakfast will be served on delay days due to lunch prep schedules.
Students may ride the bus or be dropped off—just two hours later than usual.

Join them on March 28th from 1:00–3:00 PM in the Hatfield Elementary Gym, where local stylists will be providing haircuts at no cost. This is a great opportunity to get a fresh look for spring! Students were immersed in Beach Day excitement all day long—from beach-themed classroom activities to ocean vibes in the cafeteria at lunch and bounce house fun in the gym!
A huge thank you to our incredible Hatfield teachers for making this day so memorable for our students, and to the Burris–Hatfield PTO for helping us celebrate with bounce houses. Shout out as well to our amazing Hatfield office staff for keeping Happy Hatfield running smoothly on a wild (and wonderful!) day like today…as you can see from our annual Beach Day end-of-day picture! 😄

Before heading to bed Saturday night, set your clocks ahead one hour so everyone is ready for the week ahead! We may lose an hour of sleep, but we gain more evening sunshine! Enjoy the extra daylight and we’ll see our Bluejackets bright and ready to learn on Monday!

NSWC Summer STEM Camps 2026
NSWC Summer STEM Camps will be offered for students entering grades 2–12 for the 2026–2027 school year and will take place at West Gate Academy. Camp runs daily from 9 AM–2 PM on select dates in late May and June.
