Any MHS student who was enrolled in Building Trades or Strength and Conditioning class last school year and assisted in the "Chase Briscoe" Bike Assembly, are eligible for up to two free tickets to the Penzoil 250 at the Indy Motor Speedway on July 20th. Tickets may be picked up at the MCS Central Office located at 441 N. 8th Street between 8:00am and Noon on Monday, July 15th.

The Lawrence County Public Health Department, in collaboration with the Indiana Department of Health, is hosting a back-to-school immunization clinic on Saturday, August 3rd from 10:00am-1:00pm for all K-12 students in Lawrence County. The clinic will be held at the Boys and Girls Club’s Limestone Unit facility at 2009 19th Street.

Also, Summer EBT, newly branded Indiana SUN Bucks, is a program to provide money to households with school-aged children to purchase food during the summer. Children must be eligible for free or reduced price benefits through direct certification or an application. SUN Buck cards will be automatically mailed to qualifying households. Please make sure your mailing address is up to date.
