In Mrs. Cumming's class they learned about the Sun's corona. It is the outermost part of the Sun's atmosphere and can be seen during the eclipse!
We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and gets to enjoy viewing the eclipse on Monday. Please remember to wear your eclipse glasses!

Today Burris students attended NED’s Mindset Assembly focusing on a positive mindset. Yo-yos will be available for purchase from March 25 to March 29 (the week after Spring Break). Order forms are coming home today and an email was sent to parents. If you decide to order, payments should be submitted with the exact amount in cash or by a check made out to Burris Elementary School. Thank you all and have a fantastic break!!

NED’s Mindset Assembly is coming to Burris! On March 15th, students will attend a program focusing on fostering a positive mindset. The presenter will entertain the audience with yo-yo tricks during the event. Yo-yos associated with this program will be available for purchase exclusively from March 25 to March 29 (Monday to Friday after Spring Break). Order forms will be sent home this Friday with your child. Please know that ordering a yo-yo is not required to attend the event. Kindly note that late orders cannot be accommodated. If you decide to order a yo-yo, payments should be submitted with the exact amount in cash or by a check made out to Burris Elementary School. Thank you all and have a fantastic week!!
