Mrs. Meredith's class had the BEST attendance rate for October!! Way to go!! We see how committed you are to learning!

IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT GRANDPARENTS DAY
If you plan to take your grandchild with you, the office MUST have a note or call by 10am. We will NOT be able to take calls throughout the day or arrange for alternate pickup in the afternoon.

Thank you to Lawrence County Community Foundation for funding a classroom grant for Mrs. Hamilton's classroom. We appreciate your commitment to supporting our teachers and students.

Mrs. Phillips was our Educator of the Week a couple of weeks ago. I was unable to get her picture until now, so we will celebrate the amazing work she is doing at Burris this year!! We thank you for your dedication.

Burris Elementary-Wednesday, November 12th

On Tuesday, November 11th, Burris and Hatfield Schools will host a Veterans Day program to honor those who have served our country. Doors open at 12:30pm at the Burris Gym.

Last week's Educator of the Week was our very own Cara Shaw, the Burris nurse. Thanks for all you do for our staff and students!!
