All families who pick up students in a car will be required to have an assigned number and car tag. Use this QR code to fill out the appropriate paperwork to request an issued tag or to verify a tag number from recent years. If you do not have a tag after the above August 22, you will be asked to park and verify with an ID. We appreciate your help in ensuring the safety of our students!

Mitchell Community Schools Registration Reminder
Burris is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher.
If your student has medication in the nurse's office, it will need to be
picked up no later than Tuesday May 27th. Please be aware that medications
are not stored at school over the summer. All medication, including
emergency medications, will be discarded if not picked up. If you need to
make special arrangements please contact Marisa Lane, RN via email or
812-849-3663.
Awards Day at Burris. Please send in a note if you plan to take your child home after our awards program. You will need to sign him/her out at the gym.

Maker Camp this June!!
A few pictures from our third-grade field trip to Marengo Cave yesterday. Thank you PTO for sending our students on some amazing adventures.
Our fourth grade traveled to Mitchell High School for some exploration with the pathways at Mitchell High School. Students were able to experience the Novus Lab, the Manufacturing and Design Lab, and the Health Science Lab, among other things. Thank you to Mrs. Kidd and the fourth-grade teachers for a wonderful experience.
We are so appreciative of our teachers and staff here at Burris Elementary. A HUGE shoutout to our PTO for spoiling us this week!! Thank you for all the goodies!!!
