Boomer encouraged the students to study hard, eat healthy, and get rest to do their best on the state assessment. ILEARN will begin next week for most students. While we believe your child is much more than a test score, cheer them on to show what they know and do their best!

Don't forget Grandparents Day at Burris for 5th-grade students! Doors open at 1:15 pm in the gym. All grandparents must have pre-arranged plans with parents for students to go home with them. Can't wait to see you all!!
In Mrs. Cumming's class they learned about the Sun's corona. It is the outermost part of the Sun's atmosphere and can be seen during the eclipse!
We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and gets to enjoy viewing the eclipse on Monday. Please remember to wear your eclipse glasses!
