Dear Hatfield Families,
You are cordially invited to attend Hatfield Family Night! This event will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Our event will be an “open house” format, where you are free to travel to different parts of Hatfield to experience all the fun at your own pace. If you plan on staying 20 minutes or the full 2 hours, the choice is yours! Join the teachers, staff, and students at Hatfield Elementary for a night of exploring community resources, celebrating student achievements, interacting with learning stations, and even hearing from the 2025 Iditarod Teacher on the Trail, Maggie Hamilton! There will also be free snacks and drinks in the cafeteria! Kona Ice will be parked in front of Hatfield with icy treats ranging from $4 - $6. Twenty percent of the profits Kona Ice makes will go straight to our Hatfield Fund for more treats, prizes, and events for all students. Last but not least, those who attend Family Night will also be entered in an amazing giveaway drawing! We can’t wait to see you at Hatfield Elementary Family Night on Tuesday, April 9th from 5 - 7 PM!
Thank you to all of the incredible grandparents who visited Happy Hatfield for Grandparents Week 2024! We enjoyed spending time with our grandparents, sharing stories, and learning together.
A big shout out to all the Hatfield families and Burris/Hatfield PTO for donating cookies for grandparent treats. Because of your kind donations, every student and grandparent who attended our event was able to enjoy some delicious cookies and a drink!
Today was a big day for Happy Hatfield! We celebrated our 100th Lost Tooth at School! Congratulations to Greyson Miller for such an excellent "extraction!"🦷🎉 To commemorate this occasion, Nurse Kristy has a special surprise for all Hatfield students! Stay tuned for more tooth news coming soon!
Hatfield Kindergarten Grandparents Day was a resounding success today! It was so nice to share time with our special grandparents! However, we still have 1st and 2nd grade Grandparents Day coming tomorrow and Friday. That being said, we need more cookies to share! If you are able, feel free to send in pre-packaged cookies so all grades can enjoy a treat with their grandparent. Your support is appreciated!
Attendance Matters! Today, Hatfield honored this incredible group of students for being present every second of every day during Quarter 3. That means these students didn't miss a single minute of instruction from January 3 - March 8! Congratulations! Thank you to Arby's for supplying us with FREE KID'S MEAL certificates to celebrate the students' achievements!

Hatfield Beach Day 2024 is in the books...and it was a great one!! From ocean-themed hallway decorations to exciting classroom activities, our students were engaged in "A Day at the Beach" all day long! l Shout out to all of our incredible Hatfield staff for making this day memorable for everyone! Happy Hatfield wishes everyone a safe and relaxing Spring Break 2024! We will see everyone on Monday, March 25th!

Good afternoon Hatfield Families!
As you know, Hatfield School hosted a school-wide program called NED’s Mindset Mission. We trust your student was encouraged by the show which taught about having a positive Mindset for learning and life!
Mindset Mission yoyos are still available for purchase to support the free show and message. All pre-ordered yoyos will be sent home with students tomorrow, Friday, March 15. If you did not pre-order a yoyo but would like to, we will still collect orders tomorrow as well as the week after Spring Break (March 25 - 29). A new order form will be coming home tonight! :-)
And don’t forget to ask your student what they learned in the show about having a growth mindset from YET the Yeti, Captain Kindly and during NED’s visit on the spaceship!
