Attention Hatfield Families! We have a very exciting day planned for Friday, May 3rd! Friday will be Derby Hat Day (see our flier for more information)! Students may bring in a $1 donation to wear a hat. All proceeds will go to Riley Hospital to support their hospital toy drives and school supply drives.

Today, an incredible group of our Happy Hatfield students participated in Special Track and Field Day at Mitchell High School! They had a blast participating in different sporting events, dancing to fun music, and celebrating their accomplishments. We are beyond proud of our students and staff for making this day a complete joy!

Hatfield is blessed to have these two incredible ladies greeting our students, staff, and families with a friendly smile each and every day.

Summer 2024 will be the first year for Indiana SUN Bucks, a new benefits program that provides families $120 for each eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out. Summer is a time when many children lose the free and reduced-price meals they get at school, and when households might need a little extra help putting meals on the table. Most eligible families will get these benefits automatically, but some parents will need to apply. This new program is available in addition to free meals that kids of all ages can get at summer meal sites in their communities.

It has been a very busy short week at Happy Hatfield! We started off by experiencing the Great American Eclipse on Monday, followed by a fantastic Family Night on Tuesday! Wednesday and Thursday both brought lots of rain, but exciting learning opportunities. Friday is a day a celebration for another group of "Brag Tag" Champions! Hatfield is always growing, learning, and creating through innovation and collaboration! We are proud of our GREAT week!
