The Lawrence County Public Health Department, in collaboration with the Indiana Department of Health, is hosting a back-to-school immunization clinic on Saturday, August 3rd from 10:00am-1:00pm for all K-12 students in Lawrence County. The clinic will be held at the Boys and Girls Club’s Limestone Unit facility at 2009 19th Street.

Dear Hatfield Families,
Today we give you back your child, the same child you confidently entrusted to our care last fall. We give your child back inches taller, months wiser, more responsible, and more mature. It has been our pleasure and privilege to watch their personality unfold day by day and marvel at this splendid miracle of development.
We give your child back reluctantly, for having spent a year together at Happy Hatfield, we have grown close, have become a part of each other, and we shall always keep a little of each other.
Ten years from now if we meet on the street, a light will shine to our eyes, a smile to our lips, and we shall feel the bond of understanding once more, this bond we have felt today.
We have lived, loved, laughed, played, studied, learned, and enriched our lives together this year. Remember that Hatfield will always be interested in your child and their destiny, wherever they go, whatever they do, whoever they become. We are so proud of each and every one of them! A big "Happy Hatfield" shout out to our Reading Rally Top 10 participants from the PTO fundraiser! These top students helped raise funds for both Burris and Hatfield Schools! Not only did they earn a certificate of recognition, but also TWO free Happy Meals from McDonalds! Thank you McDonalds and Burris-Hatfield PTO!

Happy Hatfield hosted a very successful Derby Hat Day in support of Riley Hospital today! As a school we raised nearly $520 to donate to Riley! Along the way we had some exciting races for teachers who were cheered on by our incredible students! Congratulations to Mrs. Lotz and Ms. Phillips for winning the Derby Hat contests and to Miss Bethany for winning the official stick horse race!
